Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by the User:

Cancellation policies vary by tour and are determined by the individual service provider. The specific cancellation terms for each tour are displayed during the booking process in the “cancellation policy” section before checkout. By completing a booking, the user acknowledges and agrees to the cancellation terms specified for that particular tour.

In general cancellation policies may include:

  • Non-refundable bookings where cancellations are not permitted.
  • Flexible refund policies allowing cancellations up to a certain period before the scheduled service, sometimes with a partial refund.
  • Tiered refund structures where the refund percentage decreases as the tour date approaches.

Users are responsible for reviewing and understanding the cancellation terms before completing a booking. Once a booking is confirmed, the specified cancellation policy applies, and Glovigo cannot override these terms.

No-show and late arrival policy:

  • If a user fails to show up at the designated time and location without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
  • If a user arrives late, participation is at the discretion of the service provider. No refund will be granted for lost time due to tardiness.

Cancellations by the Service Provider:

  • Force Majeure Events: If a service is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the provider’s control (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or governmental restrictions), users may be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund at the provider’s discretion.
  • Operational Reasons: If the provider cancels due to lack of availability, equipment failure, or other operational concerns, a full refund will be issued or an alternative service of equal value will be offered.

Cancellations by Glovigo:

  • Glovigo reserves the right to cancel bookings due to suspected fraud, security concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
  • If Glovigo determines that a user has violated any terms of service (e.g., abusive behavior toward staff or fraudulent transactions), we reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund.

Refund Process:

To cancel a booking, users must follow the instructions provided in their booking confirmation email. If eligible for a refund based on the cancellation policy, the refund will be processed according to the terms stated for that specific tour.

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after cancellation approval. The actual time it takes for the refund to reflect in the user’s account depends on the payment provider and banking institution.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method used for the booking.
  • Transaction fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors (such as currency exchange fees) are non-refundable.

Changes and Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling Requests: Users may request a rescheduling at least 48 hours before the scheduled service. Approval is at the discretion of the service provider and subject to availability.
  • Changes to Booking Details: Name changes, date modifications, or adjustments to the number of participants may incur an administrative fee and are subject to provider approval.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Dissatisfaction with Experience: Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with service quality, as long as the service was provided as described. Complaints should be directed to the service provider, and Glovigo will facilitate communication if necessary.
  • Personal Circumstances: Refunds will not be granted due to illness, last-minute travel changes, or failure to read the booking details. Users are advised to purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
  • External Factors: Cancellations due to delayed flights, lost baggage, or missed transportation do not qualify for a refund.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

Glovigo strongly recommends that users purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions

Cancellations and Refunds

Scheduled Pick-Up Time and Location:

  • During the booking process, you may be required to select a pick-up location and time. It is the user’s responsibility to arrive at the designated pick-up point at the scheduled time. If you fail to show up for the scheduled pick-up at the specified time or location (as stated on your booking ticket), your booking will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.

Changing Pick-Up Location:

  • If you do not know your pick-up location at the time of booking, you may update or modify it later, up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. To do so, please send an email to info@glovigo.com with your updated pick-up location details.

Failure to Update Pick-Up Information:

  • If Glovigo or the Service Provider does not receive your updated pick-up location details at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, Glovigo cannot guarantee that transportation will be available, and no refund or compensation will be provided for missed services.

Responsibility for Timing:

  • Users are responsible for ensuring they allow adequate time to reach the pick-up location. External factors such as traffic delays, public transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances are not the responsibility of Glovigo or the Service Provider.

User Responsibilities

Fitness and Health:

Users must ensure they are fit and healthy enough to participate in the booked activities. It is the user’s responsibility to inform the Service Provider of any medical conditions or dietary requirements.

Users must adhere to the instructions and guidelines provided by Service Providers during activities. Glovigo is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from non-compliance.

Glovigo acts solely as an intermediary between users and Service Providers. We are not liable for:
